What we treat

Evidence-based care, tailored to you.

We work with adults and families across a range of psychiatric concerns. Treatment is always a conversation — not a checklist.

Book a visit to talk about what’s right for you
  1. ADHD · for kids, teens, and adults

ADHD looks different at every age. We take time with diagnosis, find the right medication fit — stimulant or non-stimulant — and adjust as life changes, so you can feel more focused, present, and in control.

  2. Bipolar disorder · Anxiety · PTSD

Long-term medication management, crisis planning, and collaborative care alongside therapy providers and primary-care clinicians.

  3. Family psychiatric care

Individual and family-centered psychiatric visits, acknowledging that mental health is shaped by the people around us.

How we practice

Care that makes room for all of you.

I started Inner Light Care because I saw too many people — especially in minority and gender-expansive communities — getting pushed through a system that didn’t know how to listen to them.

So the visits here start with your story. What you’ve tried, what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what you’re hoping will change. Whether that means medication, therapy referrals, or something else entirely, we walk through the options together before deciding anything.

No checklists. No rushed encounters. Just real conversations that build a plan you actually recognize as yours.

Inclusive & affirming

Specialized care for minority and gender-expansive communities in a safe, judgment-free environment.

Culturally sensitive

We honor each patient’s cultural context — it shapes how we think about diagnosis, medication, and what "feeling better" looks like.

Family-centered

Visits that account for the relationships around you, not just the diagnosis on the chart.

Evidence-based

Grounded in the latest psychiatric research — and open to newer options when the standard path isn’t working.

Book a visit

Reaching out is the hardest part.

Whatever you pick below — book online, or call and talk to someone — you’re already on your way.

A real conversation

We start with what brought you in — your story, your goals, what hasn’t worked before. No checklists.

A plan we build together

If medication, therapy referrals, or a treatment like Spravato fits, we walk through the options before deciding anything.

Follow-up that fits your life

In-office in NJ or UT, or telehealth in either state — whichever makes care easier to keep up with.
